I’ve written about it before, but I’m writing about it because I can’t say enough good things about lotioning up after your shower or bath. It helps so much to keep aging skin from looking crepey.

Jergen’s Original Scent is hands down my favorite. I’ve tried a bunch, but I always come back to this one. It absorbs quickly and doesn’t leave me feeling greasy. It keeps my skin moisturizer all day. Plus, it doesn’t breakout my chest. I love the light, fresh scent. It’s not overpowering and doesn’t mess with my perfume. Definitely the best bang for your buck.

I thought I might get better results if I switched it up and use a wash and lotion that are supposed to work together. I tried the Olay Collagen collection. I have to say I was pretty disappointed. Both the body wash and the lotion smell great. They absorb quickly, but my skin wasn’t hydrated all day. I definitely needed more by the end of the day. I didn’t see any change in firmness or tone either.

I also tried out Gold Bond’s Crepe Corrector. Meh. I didn’t love it but didn’t hate it either. It’s definitely a heavier lotion. I stayed moisturized but it was a little greasy. I didn’t see any change in the appearance of my skin. I’ve switched this to my nighttime hand lotion before bed.
What’s your favorite lotion? When do you apply it? Can’t wait to hear from you. Love, TC
