Nordstrom Anniversary Part 1

I was online around 2am to place my order. One of the few perks of not being able to sleep! After hours scrolling & reviewing others’ posts, I was happy with individual pieces but I didn’t find a great capsule wardrobe for fall. I received my first shipment yesterday. I received half of the items I ordered.

The Zella Amazing Cozy Wrap jacket lived up to its name and my expectations. It a cozy fleece lined jacket that won’t be too heavy for me. It’s not bulky either. Covers the booty and drapes really nicely. Very happy with this jacket. I’ll wear it with my athleisure outfits and jeans too. It will be a great travel piece. Original price $89 and Anniversay price is $59.90.

The On Cloudflow Running shoe (bottom half of the pick) was the one item I really wanted to try. And of course, sold out before my chance to buy. Sigh. I found the On Cloud Running shoe in all black as my backup. I got them in a size 10. They fit perfectly but I hate them. I don’t like the low profile. They made my ankles look huge. Plus they were super stiff. They weren’t comfortable. I felt like I’d be running in stiff cardboard. These are definitely going back. $99.90 back on my card please.

The 1.State Pintuck Cami fit perfectly in a large. I love that it’s an updated staple. I’ll wear this under my blazers & suit jackets and my cardigan sweaters. It would be cute with jeans and nude heals right now for a date night outfit. I love that it isn’t shear. I can definitely wear it with a darker bra. Original price is $58 and on sale for $38.99.

On a whim I threw in the True & Co. Triangle Lace Back Bralette in a X-Large. It fits really well and the support is better than I anticipated. I kept it! I’ll love it for under t-shirts or on those days that I’m going for comfort. I got the color shown so I can wear it under everything! Original Price $59 and sale price is $35.90. Gap makes something similar if you’re looking for a cheaper price point.

I was hoping the Halogen Open Front Long Blazer was going to be my favorite piece. Unfortunately, I’m not as happy with it as I expected. I’m not thrilled with the way it drapes on me. Plus the material isn’t my favorite. I have it hanging on my closet door trying to decide if I’ll keep it. 🤔

I’m waiting on four pairs of boot cut and flare jeans and my Free People sweater. Reviews to follow on those items.

The Mom Edit had me dying for the Treasure & Bond skirt, but it was already sold out. 😢 I wanted the cocktail shaker for my bar cart, but it was gone too.
