Yep, maskne is a real thing!! I’ve been struggling more and more with breakouts since I’m wearing a mask 8 hours a day. My Drunk Elephant skincare routine just wasn’t cutting it anymore. An old friend of mine started selling SeneGence, so I figured I’d try it out and support her at the same time.
I went online and took their skin quiz. According to them, I’m a tropical orchid – oily with a tendency to break out. Definitely me! The quiz recommended I go with the oily line, but in talking with my friend, I did a combo. I use the face wash from the oily line and the moisturizers from the acne line. I really needed something that had some acne fighters.
I use the 3 in 1 Cleanser, Day Time Moisturizer for Oily to Acne and Evening Moisturizer for Oily to Acne.
I’ve used them for two months now. Definitely less oil production and fewer breakouts. My pores don’t get as clogged either. I’ve got a little dryness from the salicylic acid but totally worth it if I’m not breaking out.
I tried their Anti Wrinkle Cream, but didn’t care for it. It just didn’t do anything for me. I might check out their Climate Control next. I haven’t moved into their makeup line yet, but looks like they have some nice products and colors. We’ll see. 🤷🏻♀️
