Two, Dos, Deux, Zwei, Due.

This morning, I was trying to decide if I was lazy or efficient. Have I enabled myself to become lazy?

Let me explain. I have two bottles of face wash – one at the sink and one in the shower. I have two bottles of lotion – one in the bathroom and one beside my bed. Two bottles of Advil – one in the kitchen and one in my office.

It started with the face wash. I used to have one bottle. I’d get in the shower and forget it on the sink, or I’d be at the sink washing my face and realize my face wash was in the shower. 💡- get one for each spot. Then I did the same with the lotion. That way I didn’t have to get out of bed once I was in it. See how it progressed?

So, does having two of an item enable me to forget and make me lazy? I really don’t know. But, it does make my life easier so I don’t have to worry about mundane things.

In some ways I see how having two was a smart idea. I don’t have to worry about not having what I need or running out too easily. However, since I’m not forced to remember does that make me sloppy?

Not a life threatening question, but it just made me pause while I was washing my hair. What do you think – lazy or efficient?

Thanks for reading & responding!! ❤️ TC
