So I don’t need a fairytale but I do need some book suggestions. I’m out of reading material at the moment (that very rarely happens) and need some ideas for some vacation reads. 📚
I’ve also read BA Paris and just finished The Guest List by Lucy Foley. Now you kind of understand my taste in books. I read all of the time. I always have a book going. Reading helps me relax by letting me shut off my brain from everyday worries and stress.
I typically read fiction. I love murder mysteries, thrillers, crime drama, and some romance. Some of my favorite authors, in no particular order, are James Patterson, Mary Higgins Clark (may she rest in peace), David Baldacci, JD Robb and Janet Evanovich. I’ve read everything these guys have ever written. I love the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon, the Twilight series by Stephenie Meyer, and of course the Harry Potter series. Oh, and the Discovery Of Witches by Deborah Harkness. I’ve read all of these multiple times.
I never thought I’d go to ebooks because I loved having the actual book in hand, but when I realized it was so much easier to carry 10 books electronically, I was hooked. My husband bought me a first generation Nook for a present almost 10 years ago. I still have it but graduated to reading on the Nook app on my phone a while ago. One less thing I have to carry and one less charger to worry about. Perfect!!
I also have the BookBub app. My therapist turned me on to it. The app has thousands of deeply discounted books that you can purchase and read on the iPhone Book app. This app is great because I can try new authors without having to spend a ton of money. Only downside is that it doesn’t have the newest releases. I still get those from Barnes & Noble online. I have to my favorite authors’ books right away…I can’t wait!!
Right now, my favorites don’t have any new titles out so I need some books to try. What are your favorite books? Any apps that I should try out? Best book you ever read? Let me know 📖
