Yep, our dog is totally food motivated. She loves a good treat. I mean, who doesn’t??? We get her favorites from Chewy. Delivered right to our door so no extra trips for me!
Her absolute favorite is the Busy Roll Hide. She gets one a couple times a week. The excitement when she sees the bag is next level. This chew keeps her engaged for 45 minutes or so. She has to find the perfect spot to chew it and then sets to work. She’s completely oblivious to anything else. We started referring to these as taquitos forever ago and now can’t say that word around her because she gets so excited. They’re typically $12 for a bag of 9 but are on sale for under $10 right now.
Her favorite “good girl” treats are Nutro’s Crunchy Treats. She loves the banana, peanut butter, and mixed berries flavors the best. We keep these in a jar on the counter. As soon as she’s a good girl, she goes right over to the jar for her treat. I like that they aren’t huge and don’t leave crumbs all over my floor. We’ve tried other natural brands but she hasn’t like them as much. They’re around $10 for a 16 oz. bag but are on sale right now too.
