I switched to cream blush years ago. Powder blush never lasted that long on my oily skin. It always seemed to disappear before lunch. I’ve started following #makeupover40 & cream blush seems to be the go-to for aging skin. I’m glad I’m doing something right for my old skin!

My absolute favorite is NudeStix Matte Blush. I love the formula. It blends really well and doesn’t feel heavy. It doesn’t cake or sink into my fine lines. And, it lasts all day!!! I use the Bare Back shade. It’s a neutral nude pink shade. It comes with a blending brush built in, or you can blend with your fingertips. I love this blush so much that I’ve gotten as gifts for some of my family members. It comes in 10 shades. You can get it on their website or other beauty stores. It’s $34 for a tube. Mine has lasted for over 6 months. It’s definitely worth the price.

Milk Makeup also makes a good one. Their Lip & Cheek Cream Blush Stick is only $21. I use Werk. It’s a dusty rose shade. I feel like I have to apply a bit more of this product than the NudeStix to get it to last all day. Plus, this one has a little shimmer too it. I prefer a matte finish.
There are some great drugstore brands as well. Just remember to stay away from anything with too much shimmer. Shimmer will highlight any flaws or texture on your skin in the same way a powder does.
What’s your favorite blush? Have you tried cream blush before? Can’t wait to hear from you! Love, TC
