I’m super careful about what I put on my face. I breakout easily and have sensitive skin. It’s taken a lot of trial and error to find sunscreen that works for me. Below are my three favorites.
My favorite is Drunk Elephant’s Umbra Sheer Daily Defense SPF 30. It’s not greasy or heavy. It doesn’t break me out or irritate my skin. I can wear it under makeup if I want. My teenage daughter really likes this one as well. It’s $34 for a 3 oz tube. I like that it can pack it in my carry on bag as well!
They just released a tinted version as well. I’m excited to try this one. It’s a great alternative to makeup in the summer.
I like the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen as well. It’s not greasy and does double duty as a makeup primer. This on has an SPF of 40. I like the lightweight gel formula as well. This one is a little pricey coming in at $44 for 2.5 oz. Again, great size for travel!!
The best bang for your buck is Neutrogena’s Clear Face Sunscreen with SPF 50. It has the highest level of protection. It’s lightweight but I can’t wear this one under makeup. It absorbs quickly. This one is $13.99 for 3oz. Again, a great travel size! This sunscreen is the one my daughter uses most days.
