I love a classic white button down shirt. It goes with ducking everything. Jeans – ✅, pants – ✅, skirts – ✅, sweats for WFH – ✅…you get my point. I love them. It instantly makes any outfit look more put together. I typically wear them with blazers and cardigans, if not just by itself. Below are two that I have, love and wear on repeat.
Up first, J.Crew’s Classic Fit Boy Shirt in poplin. I love a boy fit since I have fairly broad shoulders and bigger boobs. This fit keeps it from gapping at my chest. I also like that’s it’s a little longer too if I don’t want to tuck it in. I hate anything that has princess seams or is nipped in at the waist so this shirt is perfect! This one checks in at $69.50.
My other favorite is Amazon Essentials Woman’s Classic Fit Button Down in poplin. It’s perfect & only $21! Again it doesn’t gap at the chest and hits a bit lower on the hip. No darting or nipping so it fits perfectly. And for the price you can try it out in its other colors and patterns too 😉. I actually have three of these because I wear it so much!
