Splurge vs Save – Concealer Edition

I don’t know about you, but I can’t live without concealer. Even if I don’t put on foundation, I usually put on a little concealer. Below are my two favorites!! (Plus one extra 😎).

Splurge version – Bobbi Brown’s Instant Full Cover Concealer. It truly lives up to its name! Great coverage with no caking or cracking. I use it under my eyes, around my nose, and on any other spots I want to cover. I love that it doesn’t crack under my eyes or creep into the lines. It’s long wear and doesn’t clog my pores. It’s $31 but lasts forever. A little dot with the wand is all you need. I usually blend it with my fingers.

Another great splurge option is the Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra Wear. It’s $31 as well. Only thing I didn’t like about this one was they didn’t have a good shade match for me. I had to get two and mix them.

Save version – Maybelline’s Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser. Found this one through Beauty by Mi. She tried it as one of the highest rated, drugstore brands. Dude, it’s awesome. It’s not quite as thick as the Bobbi Brown concealer, but it gets the job done. No caking, cracking, pooling in the lines, and long wear. I use it under my eyes, around my nose, and anywhere else I want some spot coverage. I’ve also worn it as foundation in pinch. It does a fantastic job, and it’s only $7.20 at Amazon. You’re welcome! 😉 Again, I dot it on and blend with my finger.
