I know you’ve seen the meme about being an adult and having your favorite spatula. It’s hysterical because it’s so freaking true. Thinking about my favorite spatula made me decide to share some of my favorite kitchen hacks and gadgets.
First up, remove the freaking connector holding your measuring cups and spoons together. It’s so much easier to use them and clean them if they are separated. That circle does nothing for you! I have a metal set of each and removed the rings right away. We keep them stacked in the drawer so I can grab exactly what I need. Once the ring is gone, throwing the cups in the dishwasher is so much easier!!! You don’t have to play Tetris to get them facing cup side down. Winner!!

I love the stainless steel Cuisinart cups and spoons that we have. They hold up well in the dishwasher and haven’t gotten any of those brown spots. Right now, the spoons are on sale on Amazon.
Best manual food processor goes to Pampered Chef. If you don’t have this item in your kitchen, you need it!! It’s saved me so many tears over the years. I use it to chop onions and other vegetables. I’ve also used it to make hummus and falafel. When my kids were younger it was something I could give them to do to help out in the kitchen. I highly recommend it to make your life easier!! Now you know what to order next time you get invited to a party!

These food storage containers are the bomb. They’re so good, we’ve actually given them as gifts. I love that they are airtight and don’t leak. They keep the food fresher for longer which is perfect when you always have leftovers. They don’t stain like typical rubber storage containers which is a plus for me. We toss ours in the dishwasher for easy clean up!

Best way to marinate meat, use a gallon Ziploc bag! My husband turned me onto this method years ago. It’s less messy than a bowl or dish & takes up less space in your fridge. I dump all the ingredients in the bag, mix, and then toss in the meat. So much easier and no clean up!!!

Finally, to keep the kitchen clean without using chemicals I swear by the Norwex Large Counter Cloths. They kill up to 99% of bacteria using water alone. I really like that they aren’t harsh and won’t damage my quartz countertops. I use them on the counters, faucet, cabinets, and handles to keep everything germ free!

What are your favorite kitchen hacks and products? Can’t wait to hear from you! Love, TC
