Stay Cool By Eating Ice Cream 🍦

To beat the heat I’m eating lots of ice cream. Protein ice cream that is 😉. I just got a Ninja Creami and am obsessed. So far my favorite recipe is for Orange Creamsicle Protein Ice Cream.

I tweaked a recipe from Stay Fit Mom’s website.

My Recipe:

1.5 cups FairLife Vanilla Protein Shake

3 tablespoons orange juice concentrate

1 tablespoon instant vanilla pudding

Put all ingredients in your Pint Container. Use an immersion blender to thoroughly combine. If you don’t have an immersion blender, blend everything in a blender & then pour into the Pint Container.

Place your Container on a level surface in the freezer and freeze for at least 12 hours.

When you’re ready to eat your ice cream, remove the Pint Container from the freezer. While the lid is on, run hot water over the outside of the Container to loosen the mix from the sides.

Dry it and place into the Creami bowl. Add the mix attachment and load into the machine. Select Full and Lite Ice Cream and push to start. After your first spin it will look a little like shaved ice add 1-2 more tablespoons of the Protein Shake and respond.

The result is super creamy & delicious Orange Creamsicle Ice Cream. According to My Fitness Pal the entire pint is 272 calories with 33 grams of protein. It’s delicious!!
